Whisbear & John Lewis Bloggers Breakfast

On Saturday 14th July 2018, we teamed up with John Lewis and hosted Let’s Talk About Sleep Whisbear & JohnLewis Bloggers Breakfast at their flagship store on Oxford Street. We invited some of our favourite parenting bloggers to tell them a little bit more about our brand, the products and our newest release – E-zzy the Sloth – the first app-connected baby sleep monitor, parent’s assistant and baby soother in one.

One of the parts of the event was a panel discussion with Kate Murnane, a popular Youtuber, blogger and mother to two gorgeous boys and Kerry Secker, a paediatric sleep consultant. Kate shared with us some baby sleep advice and talked about how Whisbear helped her little boy sleep better while Kerry told us a little bit more about her work, baby sleep and subtle yet important differences between white and pink noise. The endless number of questions from the audience just confirmed how important it is to talk about early parenthood and baby sleep and we are certain now that we would love to repeat similar events more often.

After the panel, there was Ryia Sokol’s concert. Ryia, an incredibly gifted artist, sang a few emotional songs about parenthood coming from her latest I’mperfect album. She performed one of her songs with her talented daughter and there were even a few tears in the audience!

After the event we all stayed a little bit longer to get to know each other better, make new friendships and take some photos.

Thank you Ella’s Kitchen for providing buffet options for the little ones and Love Boo, Kit & Kin, Water Wipes, Glov and Bentley Organics for contributing to the goodie bags.
