When you are in Southern California and looking for a baby expert, look no further than for Jenn Langsdale. This mom of three boys and owner of The Nest, the home of fun and nurturing boutique style Mommy & Me classes in the South Bay Area of Los Angeles, has an impressive resume.
Jenn taught in preschool through fifth-grade classrooms for a decade, both as a full-time classroom teacher and a science lab specialist. She has her undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in child development (UCLA), her master’s degree in education (Pepperdine), her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in the state of California and her National Board Certification in early childhood education. She has written about kids, families, and learning for a number of publications and has privately worked with families, consulting on parenting challenges with behavior, sleep, feeding and more.
Currently, she works with babies and their parents through the Nest.
When she decided to test Whisbear The Humming Bear with little ones attending her classes as well as her own newborn son, we couldn’t be more proud.
“We got the Whisbear and shared it with classes the end of January – right before I went out on maternity leave,” said Jenn. “We passed it around classes. Moms loved it, especially the feature that it turns on when baby cries! Some moms ordered it right there on their phones!”
Asked, why she recommends Whisbear, Jenn said that it is such a creative product.
“We love that it has pink noise noise and is so cute and snuggly. 🙂 We also love the CRYsensor feature on the Whisbear; moms tell us that their baby is more likely to independently go back to sleep when the Whisbear‘s soothing sound kicks back in! It’s portability and soothing white noise makes it the perfect first stuffed animal for baby.”
Her favorite way to use Whisbear? “I’ve used it in the car with my son and love it for that!”
