Founded in 1916, The Toy Association is the largest trade association representing all businesses that design, produce, license, and deliver toys in the U.S. When Laurie Chartorynsky, The Toy Association’s communications specialist, attended the JPMA Baby Show in Washington, DC in March 2018, and picked us as one of the biggest trendsetter in the baby toy industry, we were truly honored.
Chartorynsky has an 11-month-old daughter, so her perspective going into the show was not only one representing The Toy Association, but as a mother.
Her pick is our new product coming to stores in the Fall – E-zzy the Sloth from Whisbear, an app-controlled “multifunctional parent assistant,” which guards baby’s sleep and helps them develop.

“E-zzy the Sloth offers information and advice matching a child’s age, tracks their development, and takes note of milestones. It is also a sensory toy for babies, complete with rustling paws and colorful textiles that can be attached to the crib or stroller,” said Chartorynsky in her article on trend-setting products that are likely to change the industry titled “Trend-Spotting at the JPMA Baby Show in Washington, DC.”
“Could doll accessories be the next area where app-enabled technology is used to engage kids – possibly serving as an educational tool for them to hone their nurturing skills?,” she wondered.
E-zzy the Sloth will be available in stores in the Fall. Please check back our website for details
